Crunchy Cheesy Garlic Bread

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 baguette loaf
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
  • 5 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • Chopped parsley


  • METHOD:

    Combine melted butter, olive oil, anchovy paste and garlic, and mix well.

    Preheat oven to 425°F.

    Slice baguette into 1/4-inch thickness.

    Spread anchovy garlic sauce on top of the bread, and bake until slightly crispy and golden brown.

    Place mounds of shredded cheese in a frying pan and cook until melted.
    Place garlic toast on top of the cheese.

    Turn off heat.
    Once the cheese has hardened a bit, transfer to a plate and serve.
